My paintings are expressive journeys in oil or ink and I enjoy the journey the most when it includes a quick and close dialogue with my motives combined with a couple of surprises on the way.

I like figures in leading positions and their movements before they turn into frozen subjects. Traces from the working process share a pictures story and are welcome to stay and meet with the final expression on my canvas or paper.

Have you become interested in my paintings
or do you want to interest me in a project or upcoming exhibition?

Painting to Strindbergs Museum, Stockholm

The painting "Indras farewell" has found its way
home and belongs to the Strindberg museum collections from 2012.
It shows a part of August Strindbergs drama
"A dreamplay"; the moment when the God Indra´s daughter descends to visit the human world.

Emmigrated painting

United States Department of the Interior has in 2010 accepted the painting ”Ellis Island – In the new country” (61x50) to the collections of the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, Liberty Island, New York, ”representing artistic interpretation of the immigrant experience or the meaning of immigration.”
